Download & Unpack

# wget http://www.imagemagick.org/download/ImageMagick.tar.gz
# tar xvfz ImageMagick.tar.gz

Configure

# cd ImageMagick-6.8.0-4 (or current version)
# ./configure

Build

# make

Install

# make install

Commands

[root@svnlabs ImageMagick-6.8.0-4]# which convert
/usr/local/bin/convert

[root@svnlabs ImageMagick-6.8.0-4]# which display
/usr/local/bin/display

Use ImageMagick to convert, edit, or compose bitmap images in a variety of formats. In addition, resize, rotate, shear, distort or transform images automatically.
